Adventure in the Treetops

July 21st, 2010

Remember what it was like to climb trees as a kid? The feeling of conquering the challenge, the thrill of the height you gained above the ground, the freedom of sitting in your own little corner of the natural world? The new Tree to Tree Adventure Park in Gaston delivers that experience to adults (and kids, too) – and then some.

This course is not easy, but it is SO much fun. I tried the beginners course myself last week. I climbed walls, ladders and tightropes, flew over the ground on ziplines and very carefully crept along logs suspended in air. What an amazing way to experience Oregon’s forests — I can’t wait to get back and attempt the next level!

To get an idea of what it’s like out there, check this out…
